Job description

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for a broader role with greater exposure, responsibility and long-term career prospects?

A highly regarded international professional services firm is seeking an HR Advisor to join its small, collaborative HR team. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will support Partners and employees across European offices and gain considerably broader experience than is often available in a traditional HR Advisor position.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your generalist expertise, contribute to meaningful projects and build your profile within a growing international organisation.

The opportunity

You will provide operational and advisory support across the employee lifecycle, including:

  • Advising managers and employees on HR policies and employee relations matters
  • Supporting performance, absence, family leave and wellbeing cases
  • Managing new joiner and leaver processes
  • Coordinating payroll changes, benefits and pension administration
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding
  • Maintaining HR records, policies and reporting
  • Contributing to engagement, wellbeing, DE&I and organisational change initiatives
  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of a new HR information system
  • Producing HR data, insights and reports for senior management
Why apply?

As part of a small HR team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and gain visibility across the wider business. Rather than being restricted to one area of HR, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across employee relations, systems, reward, projects and the full employee lifecycle.

The firm offers:
  • Genuine scope for career progression
  • Support with CIPD studies
  • Broad exposure and greater responsibility
  • Direct experience working with the Head of HR and senior stakeholders
  • Involvement in a major HR systems implementation
  • Hybrid working, with only two to three days per week in the London office
  • A supportive, inclusive and high-performing culture
About you

You will need:

  • Previous HR Advisor-level or equivalent generalist experience
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting employee relations cases
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The confidence to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach

Experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a standout opportunity for an HR Advisor who wants to accelerate their development, expand their generalist experience and progress within a respected international organisation.
