Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is advertising for a Band 5 Hub Manager within a Civil Service establishment. The role is non-operational but involves people management, policy development and liaison with external stakeholders.

You will manage staff performance, conduct appraisals and support unit governance while championing flexible working arrangements. Working patterns are hybrid where possible, with standard 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Able to deal effectively and assertively with staff at all levels.
• Able to use MS Word and MS Excel competently.
• Information collation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward the development of local policy, procedures and practice.
• Manage devolved budgets in line with financial procedures.
• Monitor SDIs and sign off documentation as appropriate.
• Draft external and internal communications for the Hub.
• Be the first point of contact for external stakeholders.
• Line manage staff and conduct performance appraisals.
