Job summary

Wmjobs is seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support a small group of pupils in a Worcester school hub. You will assist with speech and language, behaviour, reading, spelling, numeracy and social-emotional needs, delivering personalised activities under the guidance of the AHT (Inclusion).

You will work with teachers and other TAs, track progress, support pupils with special needs, prepare resources, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Ability to follow plans from the Inclusion team.
• Good communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support small groups of pupils during lessons and transitions.
• Provide regular feedback on pupil progress to teachers and Inclusion team.
• Assist with IEPs and learning activities for pupils with SEND.
• Prepare learning resources and maintain classroom displays.
• Assist with safeguarding, hygiene and pupil well-being.
• Participate in Enrichment activities.
