Norwood has operated the Unity Short Break service for over 20 years, supporting families and children across Barnet and Herts. We are expanding this service to include more diverse activities throughout the week, including evenings and weekends, in our newly refurbished Hub with outdoor and sensory facilities.
The Children and Family Service Department aims to empower families with neurodivergent children through a Whole Family Centred, Strengths and Needs Based Model, ensuring impactful support and positive outcomes.
As the Hub and Short Breaks Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations and lead the service's growth. Your responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring OFSTED compliance, developing inclusive sessions, and collaborating with partners to adapt to community needs.
You will leverage your experience in operations, funding, and staff management to shape innovative programmes that respond to the aspirations of the children and young people served.
