Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead HSW performance on a major project in the UK. You will shape policy, drive compliance, and engage senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable safety outcomes.

You will report to the Project Director with dotted line to Head of HSW, UK&I, and will develop the HSW Management System, mentor staff, and ensure integration of CDM duties and Building Safety Act requirements across the project.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on HSW leadership on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM duties and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop HSW teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all HSW matters and ensure policy implementation.
• Drive HSW strategies and promote positive practices across the project.
• Support managers to engage on HSW and training needs.
• Develop and maintain the HSW management system and tools.
• Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to meet obligations.
• Transition to delivering Construction Phase HSW requirements.
