Job summary

Orion Group is supporting a Tier 1 Construction & Infrastructure client to source a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of processes aimed at managing health, safety & well-being risks within a large joint venture infrastructure project.

As the HSW Manager you will lead day to day management and mentoring of HSW Advisors, champion HSW across the project, oversee the local implementation of standards, plan inspections and training, and

Qualifications

• Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH).
• Professional qualification in health and safety (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
• A current CSCS Card.
• A clean, full driving licence.
• Experience managing a team of HSW Advisors.
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day management, guidance, support and mentoring to the other HSW Advisors.
• Being a visible champion for HSW throughout the project engaging with Operatives and Managers.
• Oversee the implementation of Organisational Standards relating to HSW at a local level.
