Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Portfolio Health & Safety Lead to provide strategic H&S leadership across our UK Property & Buildings portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, influence performance and drive improvement in health and safety outcomes for a complex, growing business.

You will oversee the H&S support model, coordinate senior partners, and ensure governance, performance and assurance are embedded in decision-making.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a senior H&S leader or business partner in a complex, project-led organisation.
Experience advising Executive Directors, Managing Directors and Operational Directors.
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulatory framework, practical CDM & Building Safety Act understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee P&B H&S strategy and annual improvement plan.
Advise executives on H&S risk, performance and leadership.
Provide consolidated portfolio H&S performance view to the Executive MD.
Oversee portfolio H&S reporting using incident and performance data to identify trends.
Set direction for the H&S team and allocate resources by risk and business need.
Lead H&S input to strategic projects, bids, and significant change.
