Zusammenfassung

Southern Water is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Assurance Advisor to provide competent assurance and advice across Operations, Facilities, Engineering and Construction, ensuring personnel and contractors operate safely and comply with legal requirements.

You will produce assurance audit reports with value-added recommendations, communicate with the HSSW Manager and senior stakeholders, and lead delivery of the Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategy while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifikationen

• In-depth knowledge of HSW legislation and its practical application.
• Experience in advisory capacity on health & safety matters in utilities, facilities, construction or critical infrastructure.
• Must possess a full UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Account for undertaking Assurance to advise the Executive Management Team and Board on the adequacy and effectiveness of business controls for HSSW.
• Understand HSSW processes, evaluate objectives, risks and mitigating controls.
• Form independent opinions on control operation and produce concise assurance reports with recommendations.
• Maintain communication with HSSW Manager, senior managers, contractors and suppliers.
• Deliver and monitor performance against the Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategy, standards and procedures.
