Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor to join the Regional Scotland team on the Netherton Hub project in Peterhead. You will drive safe delivery, provide expert advice and help achieve Zero Harm targets across HVDC/HVAC works and related civil activities.

You will conduct site inspections, support bids and PQQs with HSW responses, investigate incidents, and report on performance using the Project Portal.

Qualifications

• Understand and support delivery of UK HSW Strategy.
• Ability to influence and promote a positive HS&W culture.
• Competence in incident investigation and reporting.
• Strong written reports on HSW topics.
• Experience with risk-based service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand and support delivery of UK HSW Strategy.
• Contribute to Zero Harm Action Plan and Sustainability Action Plan.
• Support HSW KPIs at project and business level.
• Support bids with HSW responses for proposals and PQQs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses per Balfour Beatty standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and record findings in the Project Portal.
