Job summary

Gross Stb in Ipswich is seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Adviser to support our civil engineering projects locally. The role focuses on delivering practical HSE guidance to operational teams across contracts and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

You will conduct HSW audits, incident investigations, RAMS reviews, and produce monthly reports, while coaching staff and building strong relationships with contractors and regulators to improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of health and safety management systems.
• Experience coaching frontline personnel on safety practices.
• Ability to analyse risk and implement preventive measures.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach personnel on HSW requirements.
• Lead RAMS reviews and HSW plans for projects.
• Conduct HSW audits and incident investigations.
• Maintain incident database and monthly HSW reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and clients.
