Job summary

Sizewell C Company is seeking a Senior HSW Advisor for the Suffolk site to drive health, safety and wellbeing across the Civil Works Alliance. You will advise and support delivery teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead safety interventions across multiple disciplines on a complex construction project.

Key duties include risk assessments, incident investigations, reporting, and delivering targeted safety training. A NEBOSH Diploma and UK H&S experience are essential for this pivotal role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulatory framework.
• Experience managing health, safety and wellbeing on complex construction and civils projects.
• Ability to engage and converse at all levels.
• Competence in incident and accident investigation.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiar with Vision, PowerApps and PowerBi.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent Health, Safety and Wellbeing support to the Civil Works Alliance.
• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, procedures and contract requirements.
• Support delivery teams in project documentation review and production.
• Attend prestart planning meetings and support safety briefings.
• Conduct safety engagement tours and formal inspections.
• Attend client meetings on behalf of the CWA when required.
• Produce reports, analyze data, and suggest improvements.
• Deliver training and advisory sessions to personnel and contractors.
• Promote behavioural safety and a positive safety culture.

NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent L6 qualification

Driving Licence

CSCS card

Site Environmental Awareness Training (SEATS)

First Aid At Work (3 days)

Fire marshal

PTTLS or equivalent training qualification
