Job summary

JLL in Derby is seeking an HSSE Advisor to promote and implement proactive health, safety, security and environmental culture on a highly regulated Rolls-Royce site. Reporting to the onsite HSSE Manager, you will assess risks, develop strategies and enforce compliance with regulations and best practices.

In this role you will conduct site inspections, develop policies, deliver HSSE training, manage incidents, and support security and environmental initiatives to minimise risk and ensure safe

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Qualification or equivalent is required.
• H&S accreditation (IOSH, IIRSM) or willingness to work towards.
• Experience within a COMAH, HAZOPS or heavily regulated industry sites.
• Facilities Management or heavy manufacturing based experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop, review policies, procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Deliver HSSE training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses and propose corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
• Collaborate on security protocols, incident management and environmental initiatives.
