Job summary

CHAS in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Health & Safety auditor to join our Operations team. You will conduct detailed HSQE audits across contractors’ management systems, policies and procedures, and provide clear, constructive feedback to drive compliance with UK standards and best practice.

You will travel for on-site audits when required, liaise with stakeholders at all levels, and help shape assessment guidance while maintaining high audit integrity in a KPI‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering HSQE audits.
• Ability to evaluate contractor management systems against national standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality audits of HSQE management systems.
• Provide clear feedback on non‑conformities and guide contractors toward compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders across Directors to SMEs and maintain audit integrity.
