Job summary
Ground Control in Coventry is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to support our Infrastructure division. You will provide practical health, safety, quality and environmental advice across rail, civils and vegetation projects, working with operational teams to drive compliance and improve safety performance.
Role involves site inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and delivering toolbox talks.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General or Construction qualification required.
- IOSH membership or working towards.
- HSQE experience within infrastructure sectors.
- Experience of audits, inspections and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections, audits and assurance visits.
- Provide practical HSQE advice and coaching to operational teams.
- Support risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
- Investigate incidents and monitor corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks and workforce briefings.
- Monitor compliance with legislation, client requirements and company standards.
- Support internal, external and client audits.
- Build relationships with managers, clients and supply chain partners.
