Job summary

Ground Control is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to support our Infrastructure division. You will provide practical health, safety, quality and environmental advice across rail and civils projects, working with operational teams to drive compliance and safety culture.

Responsibilities include site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and delivering toolbox talks, with nationwide travel and a company vehicle or car allowance.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General or Construction Cert (or equivalent Level 3).
  • ITI/IOSH membership considered.
  • HSQE experience within Utilities and UK Power Networks preferred.
  • Experience of audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We're looking for an experienced HSQE Advisor to support our Infrastructure division, providing practical health, safety, quality and environmental advice across a range of rail, civils, vegetation management and infrastructure projects. Working closely with operational teams, you'll help drive compliance, improve safety performance and promote a positive HSQE culture across the business.

What we’re looking for
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification).
  • IOSH membership (or working towards Certified IOSH).
  • HSQE experience within Utilities and ideally UK Power Networks
  • Experience of audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
  • PTS and/or higher-level HSQE qualifications are desirable.
