Job description

Ensure all the internal and external TotalEnergies Charging Solutions UK (TCSUK) processes are delivered safely. Work with all TCSUK teams to foster a safety-conscious environment. The incumbent will oversee the development and enhancement of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (HSSEQ) behaviors and delivery aligned with the TCSUK strategy. The area of responsibility includes approximately 40 personnel. The role involves working on-site with contractors and team members.

Activities:

1. Ensure all TCSUK team members understand their HSSEQ duties in accordance with regulations and company policies, emphasizing team leads and contractors.
2. Manage the transition of the HSE management system to meet TotalEnergies standards, including analysis and documentation.
3. Develop and maintain HSE systems to ensure ongoing certification to standards such as ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, and other relevant standards.
4. Oversee HSE-related audits, both internal and external.
5. Organize the annual UK internal audit plan.
6. Promote a strong HSEQ culture within the team.
7. Review, update, and develop documentation to address gaps identified against TotalEnergies standards or new regulations.
8. Lead incident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and share lessons learned organization-wide.
9. Ensure emergency preparedness through effective drills based on identified scenarios.
10. Participate in site audits and visits conducted by teams.
11. Encourage reporting and analysis of near misses.
12. Report monthly safety performance and conduct safety committee meetings.
13. Coordinate TCSUK Safety Day activities.
14. Manage budgets for HSSEQ activities, ensuring cost-effective operations.
15. Engage in industry forums to develop best practices and support continuous improvement.

Contractors:

1. Assist Procurement in evaluating and selecting suppliers.
2. Identify risks in the supplier panel and develop improvement plans.
3. Conduct field visits and audits to ensure contractor compliance with HSE rules.
4. Participate in supplier business reviews and provide feedback on HSE performance.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a safety role with front-line workers.
• Membership of IOSH at Tech level and NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Proficiency in Office Suite applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate action plans clearly.
