HSEQ Coordinator - TotalEnergies Charging Solutions UK

Ensure all internal and external TCSUK processes are delivered safely. Collaborate across TCSUK to foster a safe and productive environment. The incumbent will focus on developing and improving Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) behaviors and delivery aligned with TCSUK strategy. Responsible for approximately 40 personnel, working on-site with contractors and team members.

Activities:

1. Ensure all team members understand their duties related to HSE regulations and TotalEnergies rules, with emphasis on team leads and contractors.
2. Manage the HSE management system transition to TotalEnergies standards, including analysis and documentation.
3. Develop and manage HSE systems to maintain certification to standards such as ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, and others relevant to the business.
4. Oversee HSE-related audits (internal and external).
5. Organize the annual UK internal audit plan.
6. Promote an HSEQ culture within the team.
7. Review, maintain, and develop documentation to address gaps identified with standards or new regulations.
8. Lead incident investigations, deliver recommendations, and share learnings organization-wide.
9. Ensure emergency preparedness through coordination of drills.
10. Contribute to site audits and visits.
11. Encourage reporting and analysis of near misses.
12. Deliver monthly safety committee reports and global KPI updates.
13. Coordinate TCSUK Safety Day activities.
14. Manage budgets related to HSEQ activities, focusing on cost efficiency.
15. Participate in industry bodies to develop best practices and support customers.

Contractor Management:

1. Assist procurement in evaluating and selecting suppliers.
2. Identify risks within supplier panels and develop improvement plans.
3. Perform field visits/audits to ensure compliance with HSE rules.
4. Participate in business reviews with suppliers, providing HSE performance feedback.

Qualifications / Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a safety role working with front-line workers.
• Membership of IOSH at Tech level and NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Confident communication skills with clear action plan articulation.
