Yunex Traffic is hiring an HSQE Advisor to support health, safety, quality and environmental risk across the North Region of the UK. The role involves working with regional management and internal customers to implement risk controls, audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Recent and demonstrable experience as a HSQE Advisor.
• Level 3 qualification in health and safety (essential).
• Level 6 qualification in health and safety (preferred).
• Second higher qualification in a relevant discipline (science, engineering, quality).
• Internal Audit qualification; Lead Auditor is a plus.
• Membership of a professional body and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support HSQE across the North Region including Leigh, Normanton, Belfast, and Scotland.
• Travel regularly across the region, including overnight stays as needed.
• Build proactive relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice, coaching and risk management support.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continual improvement initiatives.
• Develop risk assessments and work instructions; monitor implementation.
• Assist investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies when required.
• Support onboarding/validation of new service providers.
• Assist in maintaining ISO, NHSS Sector 8 and FORS accreditation.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits.
