CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join an established contractor in the North East. The role is office-based with regular travel to site, split 50/50 between day and night shifts.

You will provide HSEQ support across the business, conduct site inspections, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with UK health and safety legislation; night shifts carry uplift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HSEQ/H&S Advisor role.
• Construction experience essential.
• Good understanding of UK health & safety legislation.
• Confident carrying out site inspections and working with operational teams.
• Comfortable travelling to sites and working occasional night shifts.
• Civils experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide HSEQ support and guidance across the business and sites.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and investigations.
• Support risk assessments, method statements and HSEQ documentation.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Work closely with site and operational teams to maintain high standards.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture.
• Support continuous improvement across HSEQ processes.

NEBOSH or relevant H&S qualification
