Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join an established contractor in the North East. The role is office-based with regular travel to site, split 50/50 between day and night shifts.

You will provide HSEQ support across the business, conduct site inspections, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with UK health and safety legislation; night shifts carry uplift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HSEQ/H&S Advisor role.
• Construction experience essential.
• Good understanding of UK health & safety legislation.
• Confident carrying out site inspections and working with operational teams.
• Comfortable travelling to sites and working occasional night shifts.
• Civils experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

HSEQ Advisor

Location: North East

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + uplift for night work

Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join an established contractor in the north east.

This is an office-based role with regular travel to site, with the position split approximately 50/50 between day and night shift work. Night shifts will attract an uplift in pay.

The role would suit an HSEQ professional with a general construction background. Civils or Highways experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
