The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. The role is vital in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, plus 1 additional day per year of service, up to 5 days. Holiday buy-back scheme available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
• Create, monitor, and update procedures within the Quality Management System.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on HSEQ matters.
• Plan and conduct audits, documenting findings and implementing improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and promote a safety culture.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.
• Develop health and safety policies and strategies.
• Lead internal training sessions on QHSE topics.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents, producing reports and statistics.
• Stay updated on legislation and industry developments.
• Manage hazardous substances and emergency procedures.
• Possess NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate passion and robust knowledge in HSEQ areas.
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
• Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
• Have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
