Job description

HSE Standards Coordinator (Previous Relevant Experience Required), Basingstoke

This role involves assisting the Telent Transport Asset Management business in maintaining high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance in compliance with UK legislation, directives, and customer standards.

The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to develop their knowledge and skills, supporting the implementation of industry best practices, minimizing injuries, and promoting a strong QEHS culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite
  • Maintain Planned QEHS Briefings using software like Page Tiger
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve KPI reporting
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including taking and distributing minutes
  • Develop QEHS knowledge and skills
  • Support areas such as contract portfolios, KPI gap analysis, incident investigations, campaigns, workshops, QEHS documentation, and 8D root cause analysis
Additional Responsibilities
  • Administer QEHS KPI Data
  • Monitor and report on QEHS performance
  • Promote good QEHS practices
  • Support client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and industry best practices
  • Assist operational staff with QEHS matters
  • Implement QEHS policies and procedures effectively
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of QEHS systems
  • Experience in Rail, Metro, or Road environments
