Job Description:

QEHS Assistant – (Reporting and Administration)

Hybrid – Pirin Court – E16

This role supports Telent's Transport Asset Management business in achieving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance in line with UK legislation, directives, operational requirements, and customer standards.

The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to develop their knowledge and skills, assisting operations in implementing industry best practices, minimizing injuries, and promoting a strong QEHS culture.

Key Deliverables:
  1. Manage QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite.
  2. Maintain Planned QEHS Briefings using tools like Page Tiger.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to improve KPI reporting.
  4. Participate in internal and external meetings, including taking and distributing minutes.
  5. Develop QEHS knowledge and skills.
  6. Support areas such as contract portfolios, KPI gap analysis, incident investigations, campaigns, workshops, documentation, and root cause analysis.
  7. Assist the QEHS Manager and team as needed.
Responsibilities:
  1. Administer QEHS KPI Data and monitor performance.

  3. Support client relationships and ensure compliance with EHS legislation and best practices.
  4. Assist operational staff with QEHS initiatives.
  5. Implement QEHS policies and procedures effectively.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of QEHS systems.
  • Experience within Rail, Metro, or Road environments.
