Job Opening: Health and Safety/Environmental Manager in Flint

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in Flint, while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures: Create and maintain policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  2. Conduct risk assessments: Identify potential hazards and assess risks associated with work activities.
  3. Manage incident investigations: Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  4. Advise on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness: Provide guidance on energy conservation measures and cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulations: Stay updated on relevant legislation and standards, ensuring organizational compliance.
  6. Manage internal and external audits: Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits to maintain compliance.

Additional Details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year
