Scantec Recruitment are working with a leading FMCG Food manufacturing business in Manchester to assist in their search for a Site HSE Manager. This role offers growth and long-term career development where you will have exposure to lots of ongoing HSE projects.
As the HSE Manager, you'll sit on the Senior Leadership Team and will focus on improving and fostering a strong HSE culture, ensuring the highest levels of excellent HSE management by providing expert advice throughout the site's operation. This will involve managing all HSE requirements and maintaining compliance with current statutory and legislative regulations.
FMCG / Food experience is not essential, but ideally you will have experience from either a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Construction background.
We’re seeking a confident and assertive candidate with previous Safety, Health, and Environmental experience. Experience in developing a HSE culture is essential. Food manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety). IEMA Foundation certificate or other recognised Environmental qualification is advantageous.
