Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is looking for an HSE Manager to join a brand-new operation in Avonmouth, Bristol. You will shape the site's safety culture, implement innovative processes, and ensure colleagues return home safely every day.

This is a full-time, permanent role with real opportunity to influence projects from day one. You'll lead HSE activities across transport and warehousing, drive safety projects, and partner with leaders to embed a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• HSE professional with experience in transport and warehousing.
• NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
• Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Start-up/new operation experience beneficial.

HSE Manager Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Want to put your stamp on a brand-new operation? This is your chance to join DHL Supply Chain at the start of an exciting new Waitrose contract in Avonmouth. As our HSE Manager, you'll play a leading role in shaping the site's safety culture, implementing innovative processes, and ensuring our colleagues return home safely every day. From influencing major projects and operational design to coaching leaders and driving continuous improvement, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference from day one in a role where no two days are the same.

A typical day may involve:

• Leading HSE activities for a new DHL Supply Chain operation, building a strong Safety First culture from day one.
• Driving HSE projects, implementing safe systems, processes and training across transport and warehousing.
• Partnering with leaders and stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage audits and embed a proactive safety culture.

This role would suit people who:

• Experienced HSE professional with a strong background in transport and warehousing,
• Confident influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience of working through a new start up/similar projects would be beneficial
• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
