Job summary

Gousto is hiring a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator (Nights) for our Warrington site. You will report to the HSE Manager and help implement and integrate HSE programs to create a safe, sustainable workplace for our circa 500 colleagues.

Your role includes leading risk reduction activities, delivering risk assessments and SOPs, and supporting audits and investigations. A background in warehouse/HSE roles with relevant qualifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Health & Safety Administrator or Coordinator.
• Experience in Warehouse/FMCG/Fulfilment environments.
• Passion and genuine interest in health and safety matters.
• Experience or training in writing risk assessments/safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of workplace transport risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to reduce health, safety, security and environmental risk.
• Review, develop and deliver HSE Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Training materials.
• Ensure HSE policies and procedures are followed to support compliance with legislation and Gousto standards.
• Assist with accident/incident reporting and investigations.
• Assist with HSE audit programmes to ensure compliance with UK legislation and Gousto standards.
• Challenge unsafe behaviours in the correct way and support continuous improvement.
• Support the site team in identifying and closing gaps in HSE standards.
• Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
