Job summary

Bilfinger UK on the PUMA project in Hull is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor/Trainer to deliver essential health and safety training to the workforce. You will conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and role-specific training, while supporting the safety team with audits and RAMS.

You will monitor compliance with UK health and safety legislation, maintain competency profiles, and help develop the Training Management Plan.

Qualifications

Experience delivering health and safety training within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, energy, or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety laws and RAMS development.
Able to deliver engaging training and maintain records.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on health and safety matters.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations.
Assist in the development and review of RAMS.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with company policies and UK health and safety legislation.
Develop and maintain the project’s Training Management Plan.
Deliver site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and essential awareness courses.
Produce HSE reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
