Northamptonshire Police is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to provide expert advice, strategic planning and operational support across the organisation. You will ensure compliance with legislation, promote a positive safety culture and protect staff, volunteers and the public.

The role also involves advising on HSE matters across related services and deputising for the HSE Manager when required.

Formación

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct and review risk assessments (including fire and environmental risks).
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Fire Safety Order 2005, and other regulations.
• Monitor and report on corrective actions and safety improvements.
• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Advise on fire safety strategies and emergency action plans.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
