Keys Group is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to lead audits, reviews and investigations across the organisation. You will provide clear reporting, practical guidance and hands-on support to managers, shaping a proactive safety culture.

The role involves policy development, training delivery, project work and ongoing CPD to ensure robust safety standards are met throughout the group.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Essential: Experience of working in a similar health and safety role.
• Essential: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to health and social care or education sectors.
• Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Essential: Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Desirable: Fire Safety qualification.
• Desirable: Experience with PAS (Primary Authority Scheme).
• Desirable: Teaching qualification or mentoring experience.

Aufgaben

• Conduct regular health and safety audits and reviews across the organisation.
• Create clear audit reports and action plans and track progress.
• Assist Service Managers in building and maintaining effective health and safety systems.
• Review health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit templates.
• Investigate accidents and incidents as required.
• Maintain current health and safety knowledge and pursue CPD.
• Support incident investigations including RIDDOR.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to operations.
• Lead training and development of colleagues as required.
• Participate in project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular health and safety audits and reviews across the organization.
• Create clear audit reports and action plans and track their progress.
• Assist Service Managers in building and maintaining effective health and safety systems.
• Support the review of health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments, documentation, and audit templates.
• Conduct investigations relating to accidents and incidents where required.
• Keep health and safety knowledge current and maintain ongoing personal continuing professional development
• Support with incident investigations including following RIDDOR reportable incidents.
• Assist answering health and safety queries.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to operations.
• Lead in training and development of our colleagues as required.
• Be involved in project work.

Requirements:

• Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Essential: Experience of working in a similar health and safety role.
• Essential: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations in relation to the health and social care or education sector.
• Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with and influence people at all levels within the organisation.
• Essential: A Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Desirable: A qualification in Fire Safety would be advantageous
• Desirable: Experience dealing with a primary authority scheme (PAS) with a fire and rescue service.
• Desirable: A teaching qualification or Mentoring/Coaching experience.
