Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support compliance, reduce workplace risks, and promote a positive safety culture across the public sector in Warwickshire.

You will provide health & safety guidance to managers and staff, conduct audits and risk assessments, investigate incidents, and assist with policy reviews and training. The role is permanent and full-time, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety Advisor/Officer role.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out risk assessments and investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide health & safety advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses.
• Support HSE reporting and corrective actions.
• Review and update policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Deliver health & safety training and awareness.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
