Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to maintain and improve health, safety and environmental standards across its operations. The role offers Hybrid Working, combining site presence with remote elements, and focuses on risk assessments, regulatory compliance and driving a strong HSE culture.

You will support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, conduct internal audits, analyse HSE data, and collaborate with management and operations

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National or International Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum requirement).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent understanding of UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
• Experience conducting internal audits and supporting management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental risk assessments across the business.
• Ensure compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Support and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Conduct internal audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Analyse HSE data, identify trends, and produce performance reports.
• Support facility and asset management activities to ensure ongoing compliance and suitability.
• Assist in the administration and control of information systems, ensuring GDPR and cyber security compliance.
• Work closely with management and operational teams to drive a positive HSE culture.
