Norse Groups SHEQ department is hiring a Health Safety and Environmental Advisor to join the team on a full-time basis. Travel to sites across the north of England is required, with base location flexibility and a 37‑hour work week, Monday to Friday.

The role involves auditing against ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, supporting multiple ventures, and developing safe systems of work while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor.
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
• ISEP Foundation Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Management or working toward it.

Responsabilités

• Assist with and prepare written reports following health, safety and environmental visits.
• Support the health safety and environment team with the completion of management system objectives and project work.
• Identify hazards and advise on risk controls and safe systems of working.
• Maintain aspects and impacts registers and their updates.
• Investigate RIDDOR incidents and ensure proper procedures and timely reporting.
