Scantec is seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing client in the Chorley area. The role focuses on enabling compliance with UK legislation and embedding a positive safety culture across operations.

You will support ISO management systems, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, and work with engineering and project teams to reduce risk using ALARP principles. NEBOSH certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent mandatory.
• Experience supporting HSE in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Provide advice on Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practices.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audits.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Lead toolbox talks, inductions and safety trainings.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a positive safety culture across multiple departments.
