Job summary

Magellan Aerospace is seeking an HSE Advisor at the Llay Wrexham site to drive health, safety and environmental improvements alongside the HSE Manager and site stakeholders. The role emphasizes compliance with legislation and best practices while engaging across operations.

With a permanent, full-time structure and a 39-hour week on a unionised site, the role focuses on investigations, training, audits and continuous HSE enhancements to protect workers and the business.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate required or preferred.
• Experience delivering HSE improvements and audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems is desirable.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Manager to deliver HSE performance aligned with goals.
• Provide advice and guidance on HSE matters to site management.
• Support investigations, trend analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE reports for management review.
• Coordinate HSE training programs and maintain ISO records.
• Contribute to HSE committee activities and audits.
