Job Description:

Join our team at Terex as an HSE Advisor in Ballymoney. This role involves partnering with management to promote a safety-first culture and achieve our Zero Harm goal. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and contribute to continuous safety improvements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation, company policies, and requirements.
2. Report HSE performance KPIs, monitor environmental metrics.
3. Lead HSE steering meetings and safety committees.
4. Assist in claims management processes.
5. Review HSE risk assessments, policies, and procedures regularly.
6. Support HSE and continuous improvement projects.
7. Conduct accident/incident investigations and support other investigations.
8. Work with regulatory enforcement, insurance, and occupational health providers.
9. Identify and deliver HSE training as needed.
10. Collaborate with site teams to implement HSE improvement plans and safety roadmaps.
11. Ensure the safety of contractors and visitors on-site.
12. Support HSE budget management, including processing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries.
13. Coordinate and consult with leadership teams.
14. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar (candidates working towards qualification are encouraged to apply).
• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of current HSE legislation.
• Good understanding of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE regulations.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Additional NEBOSH certificates (Fire Safety, Environment, Well-being, etc.).
• Train the Trainer certification.
• Knowledge of PPC and UK Packaging regulations.
