Role Overview: Based in Campsie, you'll support the business with HSE tasks, ensuring compliance, proactive management, and a positive safety culture. You'll work closely with management to develop capabilities, advise on operational matters, and mentor staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
2. Report on HSE KPIs, environmental monitoring.
3. Lead HSE meetings and safety committees.
4. Assist in claims management.
5. Review risk assessments, policies, procedures.
6. Support HSE improvement projects and investigations.
7. Engage with regulatory, insurance, and health agencies.
8. Deliver HSE training and support contractor and visitor safety.
9. Manage HSE budget and procurement processes.
10. Coordinate with leadership to implement improvement plans.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation.
• Understanding of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Additional NEBOSH certificates (Fire Safety, Environment, Well-being).
• Trainer qualifications, knowledge of PPC and UK Packaging regulations.
