Carmichael are recruiting a Utilities Coordinator to join the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. You will support the design interface and ensure statutory undertakers are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with stakeholder requirements.

This role requires interfacing with Utilities Construction teams, Design Managers and other parties, assisting the Design and Engineering Manager to follow the assurance regime, identifying risks, and managing change control to keep designs on program.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in either Project Management, commercial Management, Civil Engineering or the equivalent experience.
• SMSTS and independent of construction teams, EUSR Service Avoidance, category 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Utility Avoidance and Buried Services
• EUSR Category 2 or NRSWA Location and Avoidance of Underground Services (five-day course including modules: S2, S3, S4, S5 & S7).
• Knowledge of the HS2 Act, Assurance & PPA's, Utility Regulations to inform design, construction and connection works with statutory undertakers.
• Knowledge of the CDM Principal Designer role.
• Excellent communication skills
• Mandatory Full UK driving License is required

Responsabilités

• Interface with Utilities Construction teams and Design Managers to ensure timely delivery of statutory undertakers.
• Support the Design and Engineering Manager and Designer in implementing the assurance regime.
• Identify early warnings to mitigate risks and enable opportunities.
• Manage change control and internal approvals through established processes.
• Ensure alignment of assurance deliverables with Client requirements and readiness for Completions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support the Design in line with the Programme.
