Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an experienced Survey Lead to drive surveying strategy across the HS2 Track Systems Lot 2. Based initially at HS2 offices in Euston, London, you will oversee setting out, control networks, monitoring and as-built verification, with occasional travel to project offices.

In 18–24 months the role will transition to a predominantly site-based position in Buckinghamshire and/or Northamptonshire, leading digital construction initiatives and mentoring surveying teams

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level engineering surveying experience on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering high-speed rail and/or slab track works.
• Leadership experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major JV (desirable).
• Degree, HND or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Survey Management Plan for the HS2 Track Systems contract.
• Lead survey activities across design and construction, including survey control networks and setting out.
• Act as the lead surveying interface with HS2 Ltd, design teams, JV partners and authorities.
• Drive improvements in digital construction, automation and integrated data workflows.
• Lead, mentor and develop surveying and site engineering teams.
