Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an experienced Survey Manager to lead the surveying strategy and delivery for the HS2 Track Systems Lot 1. You will oversee and direct survey operations from project initiation through handover, ensuring technical excellence and digital integration across the programme.

The role requires extensive senior-level experience in engineering surveying on major infrastructure projects, with a focus on control networks, setting out, and modern survey technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading surveying on major civil infrastructure programs.
• Strong knowledge of engineering surveying practices and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Survey Management Plan for the HS2 Track Systems contract.
• Lead all survey design, planning and operational activities including setting out for civils and P-Way.
• Develop and manage Survey Control Network and as-built verification.
• Oversee Reality Capture, monitoring, GIS integration and final handover deliverables.
• Coordinate survey works across Lots and interfaces to ensure programme delivery.
• Mentor teams in surveying, site engineering and digital workflows.
