Job summary

Ferrovial BAM Rail Systems is seeking a Survey Manager to lead the surveying strategy across Lot 1 Track for HS2. Based in Euston, London, you will oversee from initiation to handover, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and digital innovation.

The role requires extensive senior surveying experience on major infrastructure programmes, leadership across interfaces with HS2 Ltd, design teams and JV partners, and a strong focus on lean processes and data integration.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive senior-level experience on major civil infrastructure programmes.
• Experience delivering survey leadership for rail/high-speed projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Survey Management Plan for HS2 Track Systems.
• Lead survey design, planning and operations across Lot 1 Track.
• Ensure compliance with HS2 standards and client specifications.
• Drive digital construction methods and data workflows.
• Mentor surveying teams and promote professional accreditation.
