Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure is recruiting a Quality Engineer to support the EKFB section of HS2. You will own quality management across the project, ensuring HS2 requirements, specifications and contractual obligations are met from construction through handover.

You will lead ITP/ITR development, NCR handling and maintain quality records using project IT systems, driving a Right First Time culture with engineers, site teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in civil engineering, rail, highways or major infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of quality assurance processes, ITPs, ITRs and NCR management.
• Experience managing quality documentation, completions and handover requirements.
• Familiarity with digital quality management systems and document control processes.
• HS2, major projects or rail QA knowledge is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing, managing and maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs).
• Leading and managing the NCR process, identifying issues early and ensuring effective resolution.
• Using IT systems to manage quality, technical assurance and completions documentation and records.
• Coordinating handover and completions documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Monitoring quality trends and implementing corrective actions.
• Championing a Right First Time, Zero Defects culture across the project.
