Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure, a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable transport solutions across the UK, seeks a Quality Engineer for the EKFB section of HS2. You will own quality management processes, ensure ITPs/ITRs meet HS2 requirements, and drive non-conformance resolution across construction and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Engineer within civil engineering, rail, highways or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Test Records (ITRs), technical assurance and NCR management.
• Experience managing quality documentation, completions processes and project handover requirements.
• Familiarity with digital quality management systems and document control processes.
• Understanding HS2 or rail quality assurance requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ITPs and ITRs to HS2 requirements.
• Lead NCR management and early issue identification with effective resolution.
• Coordinate quality documentation and records across the project lifecycle.
• Support handover and completions processes to ensure smooth project close-out.
• Drive a Right First Time, zero defects culture on the project.
