Logic Managed Services Ltd is seeking an HRIS Technical Delivery Manager in Cambridge to lead the HR Solutions Delivery team across change and run for Workday and People Systems. The role focuses on delivery, security and performance, partnering with People & Culture and the Technical Solution Owner.

You will manage a 6–8 person team, apply Scrum, oversee 2nd/3rd line Run, and coordinate with third-party partners to ensure incidents meet SLAs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a delivery role.
• Track record of technical delivery leadership in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience with HCM software and core HR systems.
• Strong IT service management experience including incident and change management.
• Understanding of access/security governance, data governance and audit readiness.
• Confident communicator able to engage non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to upskill in Workday security governance and tenant health.
• Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the HR Solutions Delivery team, coaching them and keeping skills and career plans up to date.
• Manage delivery of People Systems change using Scrum, from story refinement through to live service.
• Run a 2nd/3rd line Duty Tech / Run capability, meeting or beating SLAs for incidents and service requests.
• Be a key decision maker during major incidents, including those with a security element.
• Support post-implementation checks with engineers on critical developments.
• Own access and security governance, data privacy and audit readiness across the HR platforms.
• Keep a close eye on tenant health, including managing Workday’s biannual releases.
• Manage third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
• Use support trends to continuously improve the service model and self-service content.
• Drive ITIL adoption and good change management practice.

HRIS Technical Delivery Manager – Workday and People Systems | Cambridge

My client, a globally respected organisation based in Cambridge, is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to lead delivery and day-to-day service management of their HRIS Workday and People Systems estate. The role

You’ll lead a team of 6-8 across HR Solutions Delivery, covering both change and run. You’ll manage the pipeline of technical change, keep service levels on target, and make sure HR applications are performant, secure and audit-ready. You’ll partner closely with the People and Culture team and the Technical Solution Owner, who sets the solution design, so your focus is on delivery, service and leadership.

What you’ll bring

• Experience managing a team, with a real passion for developing people


• Track record of technical delivery leadership in an agile / Scrum environment


• Hands‑on experience with HCM software, so you understand the core concepts. Workday is a plus, but not essential to start


• Strong IT service management experience, including incident and change management


• Understanding of access and security governance, data governance and audit readiness


• Confident communicator who can build enthusiasm for technology with non‑technical audiences, at every level of seniority


• A thirst for learning: you’ll upskill in Workday, particularly security governance and tenant health


• Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills

Helpful to have: Workday exposure and any certifications, ITIL, Scrum Master or Agile certification.
