Job summary

Boots is seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end HR transformation design, aligning target architecture with business objectives and guiding HR module implementations including Core HR, Talent and Payroll. You will partner with HR, IT and implementation partners to deliver a scalable, secure solution across geographies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large HR transformations across geographies.
• Strong understanding of HR platform data models, integrations, reporting tools, workflows and data migration.
• Proven experience defining target operating models and integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and SaaS implementation best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall HR platform architecture and ensure alignment with transformation goals.
• Translate business requirements into robust, integrated solution designs.
• Lead creation of end-to-end process flows, data models and security frameworks.
• Define configuration standards and architectural guardrails for the project.
• Act as primary design authority with HR, IT and partners.
• Ensure design is true to the agreed plan across the lifecycle.
• Assess impact of design changes to meet objectives and requirements.
• Oversee API usage, middleware patterns and data exchange protocols.
• Ensure compliance with security, GDPR and data governance policies.
• Advise on testing non-functional requirements and resolve defects as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to resolve technical issues and keep on track.
• Manage relationships with vendors and SI/third-party partners.
