Job summary

Reading School District is seeking a Human Resources Talent Management Specialist to coordinate talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development. You will work with district leaders to attract, develop, and retain a high-quality workforce while complying with laws and policies.

The role emphasizes analytics, reporting on recruitment and retention metrics, and managing HR systems to support employee engagement and district student success.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in HR, analytics, business, or related field required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years in HR, recruitment, training, or related experience.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, outreach, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and staffing plans.
• Coordinate onboarding, including orientation and communications with Payroll, Benefits, and Technology.
• Develop onboarding procedures and materials to promote employee success and retention.
• Compile and report recruitment, onboarding, vacancy, and retention data.
