Job summary

SR Group (UK) Limited is partnering with a boutique, high-profile professional services firm to recruit an HR & Professional Development Manager. The role covers people development, performance, operations, learning and development, employee engagement, and wellbeing.

You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure HR best practice, support development, and foster a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR and people development within law or professional services
• Active interest in coaching and leading people development initiatives
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law

Responsibilities

• Advise Partners on people-related initiatives and HR matters
• Lead People Development, talent management and appraisals
• Provide coaching to employees and managers
• Be the main point of contact for HR matters
• Advise on employee relations, employment law, performance, and people issues
• Maintain HR policies, processes and documentation
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance and salary reviews
• Support disciplinary, grievance and family leave matters
• Maintain HR systems, employee records and people data
• Coach and support employees in their professional development
• Identify learning and development opportunities across the business
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
• Provide HR reporting and insights to support decision-making

I am partnering with a boutique & high-profile professional services firm who are looking to recruit a HR & Professional Development Manager to join the firm. This role will encompass key areas of HR including: people development and performance, operations, employee relations, learning and development, and employee engagement.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure HR best practice, support employee wellbeing and development, and help foster a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Partner & help advise the Partners on people related initiatives and matters.
• People Development & talent management & appraisals.
• Coaching.
• Act as the main point of contact for HR matters.
• Advise managers on employee relations, employment law, performance, and people issues.
• Maintain HR policies, processes, and employment documentation.

• Support disciplinary, grievance, and family leave matters.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records, and people data.
• Coach and support employees in their professional development.
• Identify learning and development opportunities across the business.

• Provide HR reporting and insights to support decision-making.

About You:An experienced HR & People Development professional with a background in law/professional services is essential in this role. Ideally you will have an active interest in coaching and will take a lead on all people development initiatives.
