Job description

My client is a diverse public sector organisation committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. They are currently seeking a skilled HR Systems Data Specialist to join their HR Systems & Data team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support business-as-usual activities within the HR systems team.
  2. Extract, manipulate, and report on large datasets.
  3. Produce and investigate detailed reports.
  4. Write and execute SQL queries.
  5. Work with SAP and Oracle systems (experience with either is preferable).
  6. Utilise SMTP mail relay and S-Sharp for data management. (Desirable)
  7. Automate processes using Microsoft VBA. (Desirable)
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Advanced Excel skills are crucial.
  2. Proficiency in data manipulation and reporting.
  3. Strong analytical and methodical thinking.
  4. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Access (Immediate requirement).
Desirable Skills:
  1. Experience with SAP and Oracle systems.
  2. Familiarity with automation tools and techniques.
  3. VBA & Sequel.
