Job summary

H&T Group Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Sutton Support Centre. The role focuses on delivering efficient HR processes, using Dayforce, and supporting employees across the lifecycle in a hybrid-working environment.

You will lead onboarding/offboarding, respond to HR queries, maintain records, and contribute to GDPR-compliant HR service delivery while driving continuous improvement in HR systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience using Dayforce HR Platform and supporting managers and employees in a busy HR environment.
• Ability to triage and manage employee queries with sound judgement and escalation where needed.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, HR policies, and GDPR requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding activities including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment screening, and Right to Work checks.
• Manage offboarding processes ensuring a smooth employee departure experience.
• Respond to and triage HR queries via shared mailboxes with timely, accurate support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and lifecycle changes within HR systems.
• Ensure HR documentation is confidential and compliant with GDPR.
• Support delivery of a consistent, high-quality HR service across the business.
• Assist with data migration, validation, cleansing, and system mapping for HR systems.
• Participate in UAT to improve system functionality and user experience.
• Develop user guides and support managers/employees with self-service tools.
• Generate HR reports and provide meaningful data insights.
