DS Smith is seeking an experienced HR Services Operations Team Leader to oversee the HR Operations team within our Shared Services Centre. You will ensure timely delivery of employee lifecycle services, develop your team, and drive process improvements.

Based in Caerphilly with hybrid work, you will partner with Payroll, Finance and Recruiting to deliver excellent service, maintain data accuracy, and ensure GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or People Services.
• Proven team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
• Experience with HR systems and employee data.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
• GCSEs in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of HR Operations professionals.
• Monitor SLAs and act as the first escalation point for complex queries.
• Oversee recruitment administration, onboarding, and contract changes.
• Support HR policies, data quality, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Recruitment, and L&D teams.
